Ever wished you could have TWO handfuls of thunder and lightning - one for audio and another for video? You can do it! ADCOM GFR-700HD!!!EVERY set of loudspeakers known sound better and the video upscaling is breath-taking.In pure "bang for the bucks", you'll not find a better, more powerful A/V receiver with the head room and dynamic range of this bad boy.

Simply Missing Inputs

Bought this thing and now I need more inputs. Not close to having enough. Maybe a phono input would be nice. AM / FM should be also inputs

Best HD Scaling - Bar None!

I purchased this unit a while back and was interested not only in the sound quality as that was one of my main reasons for purchasing this unit. Also, I was interested in the Up-Conversion capabilities of the video. To my amazement I was very pleased with the video scaling from my DirectTV Cable Box to my Front Projector (Sanyo PLV-Z4). All of the digital sattelite channels are coming in significantly clearer than before. Cheers to Adcom for another great piece of Audio/Video Equipment!!!!

WOW! Home Theater Done Right!

I recently upgraded my Home Theater system to the Adcom GFR-700HD. I cannot beleive how much better my new system is than the Sony STRDE980 that I had. This is the first system I have ever had that shows how fantastic my ESS AMT-1D speakers and my Klipsch KSR300W Subwoofer sound. I am also now re-discovering my DVD movie collection on my 60 inch Sony LCD Projection TV thanks to the GFR-700HD's crisp HDMI up-conversion. It has also done wonders for my classic Laser Disc Movie Collection on my RCA Laser Disc Player. I now have a world class home theater!
